When we brought home our Boxer, Drama, we were told an elevated feeder would be better for him. I started looking for one that belonged in our home instead of competing with it. Everything I found felt flimsy, overdesigned, or like it belonged in a pet aisle instead of a well-designed home.
As a designer and fabricator, I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I walked into my shop and made the feeder I wished existed.
For more than twenty years, I've been designing, welding, and finishing objects from steel by hand. The Drama Feeder is a natural extension of that work. It's built with the same attention to proportion, material, and craftsmanship that has defined my lighting and furniture for decades.
The Drama Feeder started the same way most of my work does: with a belief that everyone deserves good design.

Drama was our Boxer — and the inspiration behind these feeders. We wanted something worthy of him, so we made it ourselves. He passed in 2015. We still miss him.
Yes. Pieces from our original 2013 run are still in use today. The powder coated finish is durable and low-VOC. The porcelain bowls will last forever.
Wash the bowls with dish soap like any other kitchen dish — microwave and dishwasher safe. Clean the base with a non-abrasive cleaner; the powder coat finish is extremely durable.
